  • Allie Stanage

We are very excited to welcome Allie Stanage to Rock Creek as our Director of Girls Discipleship for Rock Creek Students.

Allie is a native Arkansan who graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Biblical Studies and a minor in Greek. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Counseling from Midwestern Theological Seminary. You can read all about her below... we will announce on social media today!

“I I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to invest in these girls' lives at Rock Creek! I was blessed to have been raised by two godly parents who prayed often with me and taught me Scripture, and though I came to know The Lord at a young age, prior to my conversion, I mistakenly thought that I was saved simply because my parents were. After the Gospel had been presented to me clearly by my older brother and my dad, I came to understand my desperate need for Christ to save me and know me personally. One night as I lay in my bed, I acknowledged my sinful heart before The Lord and cried out to Him to save me and begin a relationship with me.”

“In middle school and high school, I was able to be in Bible survey classes and Bible interpretation classes. Through these classes, The Lord grew in me a deep love for His Word and a desire to submit fully to His Lordship in every area of my life. Around the age of sixteen, I felt a strong calling from Him to go into women’s ministry in order to teach women and young girls how to read His Word and grow in the grace and knowledge of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). This has been my desire ever since and I was able to attend Ouachita Baptist University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies to become better equipped for ministry.

“My purpose is to obey The Lord's call in Titus 2 for women to disciple younger women, teaching them how to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Savior through studying His Word (2 Peter 3:18),” Allie Stanage.

The summer following Allie’s high school graduation worked as a volunteer at Life Action Camp in Buchanan Michigan. She was asked to come back the next summer to be a camp counselor for the high school girl volunteers. She worked at Life Action in that position for two summers, teaching weekly Bible studies, leading weekly cabin prayer times, organizing and planning events, and meeting one-on-one with the girls to encourage and disciple them.

In college, she served for two years as a Resident Assistant in her dorm. Through this position, she was able to disciple the girls on her floor, plan events, and meet practical needs of the girls. She was also able to serve with Campus Ministries, discipling girls and organizing/scheduling speakers for a tri-weekly devotional called Noonday.

Since graduating, she served at Changepoint Crisis Pregnancy Center in Hot Springs, leading Bible study on occasion, aiding the ultrasound technician, greeting the women who come in, and being trained by the director of the ministry, Joann Carter.

Allie is an encourager, very people-oriented, and friendly. In her free time she loves to drink coffee, skateboard, and go rock climbing with friends

Everyone, welcome Allie Stanage to Rock Creek Students!
